Starting on the prior Thursday, BBF programmed readings throughout the borough, culminating with Sunday’s main event. Thousands of book lovers jammed multiple venues to hear some of their favorite authors read and converse about books.
Over 100 writers, including Joyce Carol Oates, Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts, Pete Hamilll, Esmeralda Santiago, and Jhumpa Lahiri among others were among the talent that burnished Brooklyn’s growing literary scene.
