Ringshout at MoCADA

September 16, 2011 – With fall creeping in it was a perfect evening to launch “Bookends,” a series of readings, which served as a 4-day lead in to the Brooklyn Book Festival. As part of the BBF program, Ringshout, “a place for black literature,” hosted writers Catherine E. McKinley, Emily Raboteau, and Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts –three contemporary writers with unique voices.
